The Summary of the Social Media Takeover

Since the beginning of term, from Monday 14th September until Sunday 11th October, Winchester Hub has ran a Social Media Takeover (SMT) for each of the programmes we run to introduce you to our team! In this blog we will have an overview of each SMT per programme which ran across all of our platforms from Facebook, to Twitter to Instagram!

PRESIDENT

SCHOOLS PLUS

The Schools Plus Takeover ran from Sunday 20th September to Tuesday 22nd September 2020! Their takeover was massive and took place on all three platforms!!

The Schools Plus Program is going to look a little bit different this semester, whilst our volunteers will not be able to go into schools, there are still some great opportunities to get involved with! Firstly, we will be offering 1-1 online tutoring sessions, whereby volunteers will be matched with a student who will need help with a specific subject or topic. Volunteers will then be responsible for assisting the students with these topics and answering any questions they may have! But do not worry the Schools Plus Coordinators will always be on hand to help with this! Tutoring will take place online via zoom and is a flexible volunteering option as our volunteers can decide which day they wish to tutor! So, what are you waiting for? Sign up today!
